Crop and resize images in your browser
Trim a photo to the part that matters and set the exact dimensions a form or website asks for, without installing anything or handing your picture to a server.
Crop or resize an imageExact sizes, without the guesswork
Upload forms are often specific and unforgiving: a profile photo at 400 by 400 pixels, a document scan no wider than 1600, a marketplace listing under a set file size. Getting there usually means opening heavyweight software or trusting an ad-filled website with your picture.
docu4all does it in the page you are already on. Type the width and height you need, keep the aspect ratio locked so nothing is stretched, and the result downloads immediately.
The crop tool is visual rather than numeric: drag the box over the part you want, with a rule-of-thirds grid to help you frame it and a live pixel readout so you always know the exact output size.
How to do it, step by step
Add your image
Drop the picture in or choose a file. Any format your browser can open will work.
Crop to what matters
Drag the crop box and pull the corners. Zoom in for precise edges, then apply.
Set the exact size
Enter a width or height with the ratio locked, and the other value follows automatically.
Save it
Download as PNG or JPEG, or send it straight to another app with the share button on a phone.
Resizing without wrecking the picture
Scaling an image down is safe: you are discarding detail the new size cannot display, and the result stays sharp. Scaling up is a different matter, because the extra pixels have to be invented and the result looks soft no matter which tool does it. If you need a larger image, start from a larger original.
Keep the aspect ratio locked unless you genuinely want distortion. If a form demands a square image from a rectangular photo, crop it square first and then resize, rather than forcing both dimensions and stretching faces or text out of shape.

Crop or resize an imageFrequently asked questions
Can I set exact pixel dimensions?
Yes. Enter the width and height you need, with an option to keep the aspect ratio locked so the image is never stretched.
Is my image uploaded to resize it?
No. Cropping and resizing happen entirely in your browser, so your picture never leaves your device.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Enlarging beyond the original dimensions will look soft, because that detail does not exist.
Can I crop to an exact size?
Yes. The crop box shows a live pixel readout as you drag, and you can resize to exact dimensions afterwards.
